Why Hands-Free Safety Tools Matter
Hand injuries remain a persistent industrial safety problem because many tasks still require workers to guide, hold, align or steady objects by hand. Hands-free safety tools address the exposure point by changing how the task is performed.
Gloves remain an important final layer of protection, but they do not stop a hand from entering a hazard zone. Recognised safety frameworks prioritise elimination, substitution and engineering controls before relying on administrative controls and PPE.
